Gracie set to hit Oulton Broad

PUBLISHED: 10:32 19 November 2010

LOCAL singer-songwriter Gracie will be performing a funky fresh sound with her new backing band Gracie & The Conversation tonight at the Flying Dutchman in Oulton Broad.

Gracie has been singing a mellow, Norah Jones-style set throughout East Anglia with her father Charlie Wright, and wanted to take it up a step with a full band.

After weeks of preparation, Gracie and The Conversation will host a launch party at The Flying Dutchman from 8.30pm.

Gracie and her band will be playing all new music.

Guest acts will be her musician friends who have all supported her through the first steps of her music career.

Gracie sang backing for Murder Murder Murder on their debut album during summer this year, and she is also writing folk/groove songs with Jay Ducker, a solo acoustic act.

You can find Gracie on myspace or Facebook under Gracie Wright where you can listen to her music.
