TIM Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns to Lowestoft's Marina Theatre next month, with the visit set to break box office records once again.

Over 6,000 people saw the hit musical when it visited the Marina for the first time three years ago, and with this year's performance set to include stars from top-rating television shows, tickets are likely to be in high demand once again.

The musical was the town's first-ever major touring show and since then the Marina has welcomed a host of other top musicals including Blood Brothers, Annie and Half A Sixpence, while still to come this year is Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, and professional pantomime Peter Pan.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be taking over the Marina stage for one week from September 29. Amongst the cast set to descend on the theatre include television stars Tara Bethan, Craig Chalmers and Antony Hanson.

Tara Bethan was one of the finalists in the hit BBC series I'd Do Anything and will be playing the much coveted role of the Narrator in Bill Kenwright's record-breaking production.

The multi-talented performer is no stranger to the limelight, having been seen by millions every Saturday night battling against other hopefuls to star in a new West End production of classic musical Oliver.

She will take her place in this production alongside two other Saturday night small-screen favourites. Craig Chalmers and Antony Hanson shot to fame in the BBC series Any Dream Will Do and after releasing an album together earlier this year they now take the roles of Joseph and Pharaoh in this magical musical.

Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours, this show is full of unforgettable songs including Any Dream Will Do, Close Ev'ry Door To Me and One More Angel.

Joseph bursts on to the stage at the Marina Theatre for just one week from September 29.
