Magic of Motown and ELO Again set to hit the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft

From classic Motown hits to top films on the big screen, there is something for everyone planned at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft in the week ahead.

The jam packed schedule of live entertainment begins on Saturday (September 9) as ELO Again return at 7.30pm.

Live cellos and the infamous blue violin make this show the best ELO tribute out there and certainly the most musically authentic.

Featuring hits including Mr Blue Sky, Livin’ Thing and 10538 Overture, you will revel in ELO’s unique symphonic rock style and hear some of the most unforgettable classic rock and pop songs of our generation.

All seats cost £21, concessions £19, privilege card holders/groups of 10-plus £18.

A spectacular ballroom and Latin show, featuring six professional dancers, will take centre stage at 7.30pm on Sunday, September 10.

Backlash Ballroom has been choreographed by Richard Miller and produced by Paul Irving.

Full price tickets cost £17, concessions £15, privilege card holders/groups of 10-plus £14.

Attention then turns to the big screen as A Ghost Story (12A) is shown at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on September 11 and 12.

Everything Everything (12A) is shown at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on September 13 and at 2.30pm on September 14.

An encore screening of Carmen on the Lake (12A) - performed on the spectacular water stage of Lake Constance in Bregenz (Austria) – will then be showcased.

George Bizet’s Carmen is a story of passion, destiny and obsession and will be shown at 7pm on Thursday, September 14 - all seats £10.

The week finishes in style as the Magic of Motown show hits town next Friday, September 15 at 7.30pm.

Prepare yourself for 40 back-to-back classic Motown hits, glittering costume changes, dazzling dance moves and outstanding musicianship in this explosive concert experience.

Celebrate the sound of a generation with the timeless music of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Jackson 5, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and many more - all seats cost £25.
