Panto fun with the Players

FRESH from the successful conclusion of their Christmas Pantomime, the Lowestoft Players are calling on budding actors, singers and dancers from the region to audition for a summer production of Carousel.

FRESH from the successful conclusion of their Christmas Pantomime, the Lowestoft Players are calling on budding actors, singers and dancers from the region to audition for a summer production of Carousel.

The Players are planning to perform the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel in May, followed by The King and I in September.

This latest version by the Players will be directed by Karen Carter who promises a brand new look to the well known musical.

A series of open auditions is set to be held, with an information night due to take place at 32a Stradbroke Road, Pakefield on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Adult auditions for Carousel will be held on Sunday, January 20, including a dance workshop at 10am, principal character auditions from 11.30pm and male and female company auditions at 5pm.

The Players are also looking for two talented youngsters to play the juvenile roles of Louise and Enoch Snow Jr who are both aged 13 years plus.
