Waveney Sinfonia Musical Society welcomes a return performance from violin soloist Joshua Warren on Saturday.
WAVENEY Sinfonia Musical Society welcomes a return performance from violin soloist Joshua Warren on Saturday, January 12.
Born in Germany in 1982, Josh grew up in Norwich, attending the City of Norwich School. Son of cellist Crispin Warren, Josh began playing the violin at the age of six.
Learning under Michael Badminton and Marius Bedeschi, he continued his studies at the Purcell School, before moving onto the Royal Academy of Music. Today he is a violin teacher in London.
Conducted by Adrian Brown and lead by David Adelson, Josh will solo with the orchestra at Trinity Methodist Church, Lowestoft, performing Mozart's overture The Impresario, Beethoven's violin concerto in D major, Handel's Concerto Grosso in G major, and Brahms' Variations on the St Anthony Chorale.
Starting at 7.30pm, tickets are priced at £8 for adults, £7 for concessions and £3 for students, and are available from Morlings, F.W. Knights or by phoning 01502 581958.
