Theatre schedule features explosive science and historical drama

A busy programme of events is planned at Pakefield’s Seagull Theatre.

Brian Friel’s classic play ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’, which follows five sisters and their elderly brother in rural Ireland, will be performed at 7.30pm tomorrow (April 20) evening. Tickets are either £9 or £12.

From 3pm on Saturday, April 21, Professor Kaos and his Science Mania show present ‘Meet the Scientists!’, a chance to engage with the world’s greatest scientific brains in an explosive yet informative show. Tickets are priced at either £3 or £5.

On Sunday, April 22, Andy Davis will host to the ever-popular Seagull Karaoke Night from 7pm in the theatre foyer. The night offers a fun atmosphere and admission is free.

From April 26 to 28, the Quaysiders present ‘The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller from 7.30pm. Tickets for this classic tale of fear and revenge are priced at either £9 or £10.
