New show for all the family at popular venue

A new show for all the family will be presented at the Seagull Theatre in Pakefield this weekend.

On Saturday, June 23, at 7.30pm, the Tigerlilys will return with a brand new show for all the family – Diva Fever.

Hold on to your seats for some memorable hits from the top female performers in recent decades. Dazzling, fast paced, and, as always highly colourful. Tickets cost £9/£8.

This Sunday, June 24, from 7pm, Andy Davis hosts the ever popular monthly karaoke evening in the foyer bar. No previous experience is necessary for this evening of well-loved songs in a gentle and welcoming atmosphere. Free admission.

Next Saturday, June 30, at 7pm for a 7.15pm start, the Stuff of Dreams Theatre Company, in collaboration with the Seagull Theatre, stage a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the grounds of East Point Academy, Lowestoft.

This is an exciting venture, which will be a marvellous way to engage with a timeless classic. Tickets £8 (£20 for four)/£5 students.

From July 2, for two weeks, the Seagull hosts productions from local primary schools with whom we have been working. On Monday and Tuesday, July 2/3 at 7pm, the Year six children at Elm Tree Primary present ‘Whodunnit?’ This is a new play written especially for the school and centred around the mystery of the missing school mascot. Tickets cost £5.

On Wednesday and Thursday, July 4/5, at 7pm, Westwood primary’s Year six children proudly present the Roald Dahl combination, Charlie and James and the Great Glass Twit Factory. Follow the devious exploits of grown up Veruca Salt as she meddles with the chocolate recipe and draws in other well known characters in the process. Tickets cost £5.

On Monday and Tuesday, July 9/10, at 7pm, the year six children at St Mary’s will proudly present a modern take on Homer’s classic epic story ‘The Odyssey’. Tickets cost £5.

On Wednesday and Thursday, July 11/12, at 7pm, Pakefield Primary’s Year six children are pleased to present a re-write of Robin Hood. Tickets cost £5.
