Cannon and Ball are back to headline alongside a brand new line up of talent that includes Tom O'Connor, Faith Brown, Bucks Fizz, Roger De Courcey and Norman Collier.

From tomorrow a special season commemorating the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the second world war commences with local historians John Holmes and Chris Brooks presenting an evening of nostalgia with slides and memories of the town during wartime. In aid of the Jack Rose Old Lowestoft Society and the Palliative Care Unit at the James Paget University Hospital.

The BBC Big Band makes a rare visit to the east coast on Sunday with a special Wartime Gala. Joined by internationally acclaimed vocalist Lee Gibson the evening includes a selection of wartime favourites including A Nightingale Sang In Berkley Square, Everytime We Say Goodbye, Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree, Sentimental Journey and many more.

Comedian Dave Gorman stops off in Lowestoft on Tuesday as part of his Sit Down, Pedal, Pedal, Stop and Stand Up Tour. The intrepid performer is cycling his way to the extremes of the British mainland and his visit to the Marina, the country's most easterly theatre, is already proving popular.

It's back to the wartime memories with variety show We'll Meet Again in a special matinee performance on September 13 reuniting favourites Tony Leyton, Steve Barclay and Andy Eastwood and the following weekend brings a specially commissioned show Wish Me Luck recreating the sounds of the wartime era in song and dance.
