AFTER months of suspense, grunge-rockers Six Degrees of Separation return to the Lowestoft music scene this weekend with a new look line-up.

The local favourites lost band members Butcher and Garry to other commitments at the end of March, but after much thought, Jamos, McCloud and Chris believe they have found the right man to step into the void as they return to their four-piece origins.

Until today the replacement member has been shrouded in mystery with local music fans left wondering who would take over the drum-sticks. But now they have revealed that Lynchburg Tenn drummer, and band fan, Lee has been chosen as the new member.

Tomorrow night the new look Six Degrees of Separation will play their first gig together at the Brewery Tap in Oulton Broad. Offering the support on their big night will be Battle of the Bands quarterfinalists Goodbye to Midnight and some very special guests.

Next weekend the venue will welcome a double-bill of entertainment as psych-folk band Magicfolk and traditional rockers L.A.F. headline. All gigs are £4 and for over 17s only.

Meanwhile, the Brewery Tap's Morlings and Journal sponsored Battle of the Bands competition takes a week's break ahead of the grand final on Wednesday, July 2.
