EPIC drama Defiance (15) screens at the Hollywood Cinema in Lowestoft this week.

The tale of family, honour, vengeance and salvation is an extraordinary true story about three Jewish brothers who escape Nazi-occupied Poland during World War II.

Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell star as the brothers who turn a primitive struggle to survive into something far more consequential. At first all they can do is stay alive, but as whispers of their daring spreads, they begin to attract others willing to risk everything for the sake of even a moment's freedom.

The rivalry between Tuvia (Daniel Craig) and Zus (Liev Schreiber) escalates, with Asael (Jamie Bell) caught in the middle, but as a brutal winter descends they have to work together to create a community at a time when all humanity appears to have been lost.
