Telegram Sam perform for Cancer Research tonight

TONIGHT sees a special fundraising event for Cancer Research UK at Uplands Community Centre, Carlton Colville.

The evening is being organised by Lowestoft-residents Sarah Moss and Helen Jary, to help mark five years since Sarah's grandmother died of bone cancer.

TONIGHT sees a special fundraising event for Cancer Research UK at Uplands Community Centre, Carlton Colville.

The evening is being organised by Lowestoft-residents Sarah Moss and Helen Jary, to help mark five years since Sarah's grandmother died of bone cancer. The pair are also set to run the Race For Life at Norwich Showground to help raise funds for the charity.

Amongst the fundraising activities tonight are a charity auction and raffle. Some of the items currently donated are a spa day for two at Dunston Hall, a £150 voucher from Guys Carpets, a month free fitness centre membership at Nirvana, a Lowestoft Town signed football shirt, three nights in Florida, and a ticket for four at the Norwich Ice Experience.

Music is set to be provided by top Lowestoft band Telegram Sam.
