ROCK legends The Hollies are to appear at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre for the very first time later this year.
It is believed that their concert in October will be their first in the town for over 40 years - having last played at the former Royal Hotel.
With more hits than The Beatles, The Hollies – originally from Manchester – helped shape the world of pop and rock as we know it today.
Among their many classic hits are The Air That I Breathe; Bus Stop; I Can’t Let Go; Carrie Anne, He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother... the list goes on…
Recently The Hollies were honoured by the prestigious American Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame for their impact on the evolution, development, and perpetuation of rock n’ roll.
They are also one of the few British groups of the early 1960s that have never officially broken up and continue to record and perform all over the world.
Famous for their trademark harmonies, The Hollies will play at the Marina Theatre on Thursday, October 6, and seats are already selling fast.
A spokesman for the Marina added, “We are pleased to confirm that The Hollies will appear at the Marina Theatre on October 6.
“We are delighted that such a prestigious group have agreed to perform for us and already we have seen huge demand for tickets at the box office.”
