THE month of October brings a host of top class live and film entertainment to Lowestoft's Marina Theatre.

Tonight, direct from Russia, the Don Cossacks State Dance Company appears as part of their first UK Tour. This sensational, internationally acclaimed company of 40 dancers and musicians is widely acknowledged as Russia's premiere Cossack Dance Troupe.

Family entertainment follows tomorrow at 2.30pm with Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosours. This brand new stage show takes you into the imagination of five-year-old Harry, whose toy dinosaurs are as real to him as the bucket he carries them in. By jumping into his bucket, Harry transports himself and all the boys and girls into Dino World, where his six dinosaur toys become full-sized dino playmates.

On Sunday at 7.30pm the UK's leading musical theatre concert, Beyond the Barricade returns with a brand new production.

Recreating the songs, music and sound of the world's most popular musicals, this cast of past principal performers from Les Miserables and the West End perform songs from Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Phantom Of the Opera, We Will Rock You, Chicago, Blood Brothers and many more.

On the Marina big screen on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, and next Saturday at 7.30pm, Keira Knightley stars in The Duchess (12A). While her beauty and charisma made her name, Georgiana's extravagant tastes and appetite for gambling and love made her infamous.

On Thursday, comedy and dance return with the Big Ballet. A comedy ballet of weighty elegance and adorable humour with each of the 16 dancers in the corps de ballet weighing 220 pounds or more, and with only one goal: not to lose a single pound. They will enchant the audiences with a collection of classical and modern ballet pieces in a hilarious comedy show full of fun and astonishing choreography.

Next Friday brings One Night of Queen as the spirit of the legendary Freddie Mercury lives on through popular entertainer, Gary Mullen and next Sunday some of the most talented dancers from around the district showcase their talents as the Pakefield School of Dance presents a special evening starting at 7.30pm.

Irish singer Sean O'Farrell performs on Tuesday, October 21, the half term holiday brings family films Wall E, The Fox and the Children, critically acclaimed Boy In Striped and the return of the record breaking Mamma Mia!, and the month will end with hilarious farce One for the Pot, starring Marina favourite Damian Williams.
