Theatre treats at Seagull

A CAST of actors dressed in military desert fatigues and employing a whole range of dance, song, visuals and story-telling techniques brings Shakespeare's Henry V to life on the stage at the Seagull Theatre.
Staged by SM Productions and UEA, this 21st century version of a truly iconic work of English literature will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 5 and 6, at 7.30pm. A must for all serious theatre-goers. Tickets £8/£7.
On Wednesday, November 10, the intimate ambience of the Seagull Theatre comes into its own as it hosts an evening with The Art Deco ‘Hot’ Orchestra. Featuring the seductively smooth tones of Simon Denny on vocals, the band promise a wonderful evening of great foot-tapping classics from the ’20s and ’30s. The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £9/£7.
On Friday, November 12, at 7.30pm the Open Space Theatre Company make a welcome return to the Seagull with Arthur Miller’s play, Death of a Salesman. Tickets £9/£7.
Film returns to the Seagull on Saturday, November 13, at 7.30pm as Wim Wenders’ movie, Wings of Desire, takes to the newly refurbished silver screen. A fascinating film for aficionados and first-timers alike. Tickets £3.50.
