FAMILY entertainment of the highest order is in store for theatre-goers in Lowestoft over the coming week.

On Sunday, children's favourite Noddy comes to town. The brand new 60th anniversary live theatre tour sees the popular charter joined by his friends Mr Plod, Bumpy Dog and Big Ears.

All are invited to join Noddy and Tessie Bear's sing-a-long, dance-a-long party in Toy Town. Unfortunately naughty goblins Sly and Gobbo are out to spoil the fun, and Noddy must stay one step ahead of them.

From Thursday to Saturday, March 13, the Birmingham Stage Company return to perform Roald Dahl's classic George's Marvellous Medicine.

The brand new adaptation of the popular book has proved to be their most popular yet, even featuring on Blue Peter.

It is based on Roald Dahl's amazing story about a young boy who makes a marvellous new medicine to cure his grandmother of her terrifying temper. When his grandmother drinks his special new potion, the most incredible things start to happen.

Other forthcoming shows at the theatre include A Night Out With Tommy Cooper - Just Like That, starring Clive Mantle, on March 20.
