A “truly memorable” evening of jazz is promised as The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars perform at this year’s Southwold Arts Festival.
Direct from London’s world famous jazz club, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars will be joined by Natalie Williams as they hit the stage at St Edmund’s Hall on Thursday, June 29.
With her Ronnie Scott’s Club residency having sold out every month for the past eight years, Natlaie Williams has performed to large audiences at jazz festivals across the country and at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the Rochester Jazz Festival in New York.
She said: “My writing draws from all of my musical influences over the years; jazz, soul, classic, with a touch of blues and country.”
She will be accompanied by James Pearson on piano, who is the artistic director at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and leader of the club’s house band. With him will be Al Garnett on saxophone; Sam Burgess on bass and Chris Higginbottom on drums.
A spokesman for Southwold Arts Festival said: “The Arts Festival event promises to be a truly memorable evening of jazz with some of the most accomplished and respected musicians in the country.”
Tickets are on sale from Southwold Arts Centre box office on 01502 722572 or online via www.southwoldartsfestival.co.uk
