KINGS of the canvas will be descending on Lowestoft next month as All Star Wrestling hits the east coast.

Grapple fans locally will be ready to rumble at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre on Saturday, July 5 when the American style programme rolls into town.

An evening of top-class entertainment starts at 7.30pm and finishes with an over the top rope rumble involving a dozen stars from home and abroad.

There will also be a USA versus Great Britain transatlantic theme to the action as the towering American Disaster Broady Steele - a 6ft 10in tall globetrotter who won the Superslam British heavyweight title last year - will be in action.

The current holder of two versions of the world heavyweight crown Germany-based Canadian Joe E Legend, will be in action along with Chad Collyer, a much travelled star from Indiana.

Completing the visiting squad will be outspoken Brooklyn Brawler - Julio Torres; high flying American Dragon - Bryan Danielson and the battling Barbarian, aka Karl Kramer.

The UK squad will be headed by former British title holder James Mason, with midget crowd pleaser Little Legs - a 3ft 6in tall mini-whirlwind from Oxford - in action along with Kid Cool; Liverpool Lad - Frankie Sloan; fans favourite Xtreme - Dean Allmark and East Anglia's own Marty Scurll.

Tickets, including special family offers covering two adults and two children under 16, are now on sale at the Marina Theatre box office, telephone 01502 533200.
