SIX talented young performers from the Waveney area have been chosen to perform in The Lowestoft Players forthcoming production of Annie Get Your Gun.

The youngsters will be playing the roles of Annie’s younger siblings; Jessie, played by Madelin Roberts and Rebecca Wren, Nellie, played by Imogen Bunn and Alicia Fisher, and Little Joe, played by Thomas Major and Georgia Horton (at alternate performances).

Rebecca Wren, 13, and playing Jessie said: “I was really excited when I was told I had got the part – Jessie, along with Nellie and Little Joe is a nice character role – not a pretty and dainty girl I have played on stage before”

The children sing well known songs ‘Doin What Comes Naturally’ and ‘Moonshine Lullaby’ and will perform on alternate performances from June 7 to 11, nightly at 7.30pm and with a matinee on Saturday, June 11, at The Marina Theatre, Lowestoft.

To book tickets call the Marina Theatre box office on 01502 533200 or for party bookings of 10 people and over call 015023 569730.
