THE Lowestoft Players host open auditions this weekend as they prepare for their next production.

The Players, who performed Chess as The Marina Theatre last week, will be performing Boogie Nights at the town's theatre from Tuesday, September 22 to Saturday, September 26.

The Players, who performed Chess as The Marina Theatre last week, will be performing Boogie Nights at the town's theatre from Tuesday, September 22 to Saturday, September 26.

The fun-filled show includes over 30 hit songs from the 1970s, with I Will Survive, Blame it on the Boogie, Celebration and Boogie Wonderland amongst the favourite numbers featured.

Open auditions for the show are being held on Sunday at the Players headquarters, 32a Stradbroke Road, Pakefield, Lowestoft. The company and principal dance workshop is from 10am to 11am; the chorus singing and onstage backing singers audition is from 11am to 11.45am; advanced dancers from 11.45am to 12.45pm and principal auditions are in pre-booked time slots between 1pm and 5pm.
