A summer market will descend on a seafront pavilion this weekend.

Some of the region's top makers, creators and artisans will feature as a Summer Makers Market takes centre stage at East Point Pavilion in Lowestoft.

The Pavilion Pop Up event will be held from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, July 30 at East Point Pavilion.

With the East Point Pavilion owned by East Suffolk Council and run by First Light Festival Community Interest Company (CIC), a spokesman said: "Bask in the summer sun and enjoy perusing the wares of some of the region’s top makers, creators and artisans at our Pavilion Pop-Ups: Summer Makers event on Sunday, July 30."

Home to independent street food, barista coffee, craft beer, live music and sea views, the pavilion is inviting locals to enjoy another vibrant event this month.

Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of stalls selling handcrafted homewares, jewellery, children’s clothes, skincare, plants and more.

The spokesman added: "The bright, charismatic space accompanied with delicious street food and stunning sea views serves as the perfect canvas for local independents to set up shop and share their incredible work and stories with the people of Lowestoft."

Selling their unique products will be Olive Blossom, Civil Block Soapery, Danielle East ART, Holly Mai Burton, Lowland & Valley, Hakabo Design, Smudge Creations, Tuesday Crew, Olivia & Rose, Conscious Cosmetics Company, Wild Frontier, Urban Wax, Molly Made, Bergamot and Flow, Connie Illustrates, Flourished, Victoria Catten, Marianne Hicks, Little Swift, Sara Sayer and Danielle’s Illustrations.

They will all be accompanied by the East Point Pavilion’s street food traders and Sir Toby’s bar plus live music from Maple Ward, Arthur Black and Lottie Grey.

The Summer Makers Market will be followed by the East Pride Pavilion celebration on August 5 and the annual East Pint Beer Fest from August 26 to August 28.
